The myth made for you

Every birthday is a threshold. A before and an after. Most people let it pass unmarked. This is for those who know that crossing a threshold deserves a story — not a card, not a caption. Something that makes you feel, for the first time, like the hero of your own life.

There are two ways to tell that story.

The Myth is epic and sincere. The person becomes the hero they always were without knowing it. In this story, their life and character will be fictionalized.

The Epic. Tell me who this person is. What defines them. What makes everyone in the room laugh when their name comes up. I will write a story that holds up a mirror to their life. So they can see themselves, perhaps for the first time, as the protagonist of something that matters. As someone whose story is worth telling.

How does this work?

Choose a story and add it to your cart. A form will pop up before checkout. Please fill it in with all the information necessary for me to write the story.

Written slowly, on purpose

I never write a story in one day.

The first draft is by hand. Then I put it down and do something else, because a story needs time to rest before it can go deeper. The next day I come back and write it again, in different ways, still by hand. Only after that does it reach the laptop, and the real rewriting begins.

Every story finds its own rhythm. But each one takes days of my attention.

That’s why I write fewer stories, and why they cost what they do. I’d rather give yours the time it needs than write quickly and give you less.

What if I can’t afford it?

Write to me anyway. Tell me your situation, why you want this story, and who it’s for. I read every message, and sometimes I lower the price for someone who needs a story. I can’t do it for everyone, but I’d rather you ask than not.

The writing stays mine, so it can’t be sold, published for profit or used commercially without my written permission. I may share and use the stories I write, in my portfolio, on this site and in my marketing, always with names and personal details changed. If you’d rather I never share yours, just tell me.

Is this therapy?

No. It's fiction, grounded in narrative theory. It isn't a clinical service and doesn't replace one.
